Neon Transformer - 7500 volts, 30 milliamps solid state BRAND NEW !!!!!!!!!
Brand new from the Manufacturer. This transformer will power approximately 18 feet of neon or 26 feet of argon in 10mm tubing. It is a totally encapsulated solid state transformer, and it's dimensions are 2.5 " x 2 " x 6.25". This is the best newest most reliable , open circuit protected transformer on the market today. It has 2 18"flex gto wire high voltage leads. The power cord is a 7' ground with on/off rocker switch . . It is under 2 lbs. .We accept PAYPAL . Its 120v AC in and 10,000volts AC out.. It is built for neon signs,
It will not work in a Tesla coil, in a jacobs latter or Lichtenberg Wood Burning..
PLEASE PLEASE do not get it until you take your old sign into a shop first!! So many people do not realise one of their tubes are bad which killed their old transformer and then feel terrible when the new transformer dies. PLEASE GET THE TUBES CHECKED BEFORE BUYING A TRANSFORMER. You have no way of knowing if a tube is weak
Shipping is $7.50 anywhere in continental U.S. Ships from Maryland
If you have a neon sign that is not working , PLEASE do not assume one of these transformers will magically make it work again. Like a fluorescent light neon signs consist of a bulb and a ballast. If one of your bulbs is weak my transformer will last 1 week tops. On a fluorescent light it is easy to see when the bulb is out because it has blackened ends. On a neon sign you must MUST take it to a local sign shop so they can do a sparking coil test on your neon to see if any of the tubes need to be remade
. Please do not assume “all my tubes must be fine , the sign is flickering so it’s the transformer”. That is an incorrect assumption, have the sign tested. THIS IS DANGEROUS HIGH VOLTAGE WE ARE TALKING ABOUT!!!!!! My transformers last 15 years in my NEW signs , in an old sign , it may not work at all. Ask yourself the simple question.. WHY DID MY LAST TRANSFORMER DIE???
The answer is usually a neon tube that has some air in it. The bottom line is, if you do not have neon experience go to someone that does.
